Tackle Land Sandgate is a genuine “family” store. We are family owned, family focused dedicated to the “I’ve just come home” feeling whenever you visit and to ensuring all our customers enjoy rewarding fishing adventures.

We welcome you to drop in for a quick stock up, grab some bait, or stay for a while and browse without having the “sales” pressure.

Quite often we have our Tackle Land Family members drop in for a minute and end up staying longer with coffee in hand.

We have created this “family” home where everyone is welcome to visit and share with us “the love of everything fishing”!!!

Only 30 minutes from the heart of Brisbane, just off the Bruce Highway

Tackle Land is ideally situated on the route to the Cabbage Tree Creek which boasts an upgraded boat ramp and great facilities. Cabbage Tree Creek is your starting point which gives easy access to Moreton Bay, Brisbane River, Pine River and the Redcliffe Peninsular where you will find a rich and fertile fishing ground.

Spend a day on Moreton Bay and chase Mackerel, Trevally, Cobia, Threadfin Salmon, Wahoo, Snapper, Cod and Marlin just to name a few! If you want to stay in the Estuary system and chase a few Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Jewies, Cod and Jack, then you are in the right area as soon as you launch. For those Landbased anglers we have a host of areas where you can pursue the same species without walking too far!
