Tiemco – Working it Hard Downunder!

  • Next week, I will be going bass fishing for the first time since I was a kid. Because I am so experienced, I really appreciate your tip about how bigger tides are the most productive. However, do you have any safety tips that I could abide by for working around such big tides?

    • Hi Mark, the thing I look out for the most when working with large tides is the odd wave that is bigger than the rest. Before setting up I would normally spend 15 – 20 minutes just watching the area and getting a read on how the waves and the water are performing. If you are working on rocky areas always have sturdy footwear and if a slippery area, invest in a pair of rock kleats!
